Turning Point Nederland maintains a direct line of communication with Turning Point USA. From the United States, there is great enthusiasm for the movement we are building here in the Netherlands and for the fact that the mission and vision of Charlie Kirk are gaining more and more traction in the Netherlands as well. Turning Point USA supports us with initiatives such as setting up chapters at Dutch schools, as well as providing training, courses, and further support for the growth of the movement. Dennis en Michaela zijn de oprichters van Turning Point Nederland. Na de oprichting is er een directie gevormd, ondersteund door een dagelijks bestuur. Turning Point Nederland is een grassroots beweging: een beweging die groeit dankzij mensen die zich actief willen inzetten voor verandering, debat en betrokkenheid. Dat vraagt om initiatief, verantwoordelijkheid en een gedeelde visie. De directie bestaat momenteel uit Rachel, Gijsbert, Dennis en Michaela. Het dagelijks bestuur bestaat uit Annelijn en vacant. Daaronder bevindt zich de brede Turning Point Nederland-community, waarin vrijwilligers actief bijdragen aan de missie en visie van de organisatie. Hoewel er binnen de organisatie verschillende verantwoordelijkheden zijn, zien wij Turning Point Nederland nadrukkelijk als één team. We deliberately retain the international name of Turning Point USA for recognizability and connection to the global movement. At the same time, we communicate in modern Dutch and give it our own Dutch interpretation. In this way, we combine international recognition with a strong focus on young people and social developments within the Netherlands. Show less

Turning Point Nederland is training a new generation of young people around freedom, responsibility, and truth. We aim to encourage young people to think critically, engage in respectful debate, and form their own opinions in a time where many narratives are presented in a one-sided way. With an awareness of different cultures and rooted in faith, we connect, organize, and inform Generation Z. We are actively building a movement in which young people strengthen one another, develop new skills, and learn to take responsibility for their future. In addition, we are bringing debate culture back to vocational schools (MBOs), universities of applied sciences (HBOs), and universities through chapters, events, training sessions, and community building. Turning Point Nederland aims to inspire young people not to stay on the sidelines, but to take the lead themselves. This is more than an organization — this is a movement. Show less

The first chapters are now making their way into Dutch schools, and the first “Pick Up The Mic” events are also scheduled. In addition, within the Turning Point Nederland community, regular meetups, training sessions, and other events are being organized.
